Does the GPS logging have an influence on the performance?

Dear Spirit Team,

I want to use the GPS logging. Right now I'm totally happy with the Spirit 2 and Geolink!! :D

It works perfect, thank you for this great product. I will always use your Spirit!

But now my question, if I activate the GPS logging feature, does this have an influence on the performance? Should it only be activated for a short time or is there absolut no problem to have it always activated?

And what does this sentence in the releasenote 3.2.1 mean???
Geolink-Logging:
When logging is turned off, module can sustain higher electrostatic discharges.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards
Renzo

Hello,

there is no influence on performance. It can be enabled all the time. This was default option for 2 years. But the most pilots are not utilizing it. By disabling it there is no memory wear.

Ok, thank you for the information!

So, the best way is to use it a short period of time, perhaps to see how fast your heli is, and then delete the internal logging and deactivate the logging, right?

So the memory can be used again for other features with the initial size.
