Takeoff in stability mode

A friend is looking to get into larger helis.
Currently flies a 150 and it has takeoff (normal) mode set to stabilization on.
Is it possible to take off with stab on using spirit.

I have flown helis for many years and this is usually not recommended.

Yes you can take off and fly in Stability Mode.
