Don't be that guy (me) - check cyclic ring!

So, Saturday was the first flight on my old, faithful Goblin 500 with a Spirit 2.

Flew amazingly great in normal flight. Using Jeti Integration, so the only thing I didn't like (roll / pitch rate a touch slow) was easy to correct. Land, adjust, take back off.

And then, I tested rescue. Upright was fine (didn't have as much travel to level, I guess, so it didn't have to apply aggressive cyclic).

Inverted, however....

Hit switch, and heli exploded like a grenade. It was spectacular. Sad, but spectacular.

The moral of this story - check the cyclic ring and make sure you don't have insane pitch limits - because rescue will use it all to do it's job.
