Hobbywing Platinum Pro V4 80A most telemetrie misssing

Hi,
I'm using Spirit RS with the Hobbywing Platinum Pro V4 80A connected with Telem UNI Cable on my Goblin 380 having the following problem (I'm using DS12):
telemetry is showing data for rpm, temperatur and voltage, but it is not showing Data for capacity.
For Current (A), BEC Curr (A) and BEC VOLT (V) there is no data as well, but mainly I'm interested in the CAPACITY.
Does anybody have some solution for that?
Kind regards,
Andreas

Hello,
have you tried to measure the current/capacity with main blades?
If no, then this is the reason why you can see 0 values. It is described in the HobbyWing Telemetry guide.
BEC Voltage is unfortuantely not supported by HobbyWing ESCs.
All your questions are explained in linked guide above:

No, unfortunetly that is not the point.
It is tested with blade in testflight.
Any other idea?

If model was flying and you still saw 0 values for Current, then either Current sensor in the hobbywing failed or load is still very small for the ESC.
HobbyWing ESC can detect current only when there is high load.
Capacity is measured based on Current values. So without current readings, capacity will be not displayed too.
Unfortunately I am not sure if it is possible to claim warranty on such kind of issue. Because oficially telemetry is not supported by HobbyWing.
You can also try to flash the latest firmware to the ESC, but make sure it is not firmware for VBar.
What Spirit firmware you are using?

Spirit was updated today and DS12 as well.
I have just done another testflight with higher rpm.
Result is not 0 any more, but after 3 min. hoverflight with 2.900 rpm it is 11 mAh...

I think the problem is that the ESC is dimensioned for much higher currents / models - helicopter class 470/500.
It is unable to read such small currents on the model

This is unfortunately known limitation of hobbywing and castle ESCs.
Sadly current sensor is not even implemented in the HobbyWing V4 60A version. So if you really need current/capacity measurement it will be needed to change ESC to something more precise or to use special module for this purpose.
JETI is doing such sensors for example. They are significantly more precise in any case.
You might try to increase the RPM even more, but I think precision will be very bad

What sensor do you mean that is offered by Jeti?
I'm a bit dissapointed, because I was choosing the 80A version because it has this option...

I understand.
For example this sensor: JETI MUI 75 EX

That can be connected directly to the Sprirt?
Do I need a Jetibox as well to use it?

Yes, it can be connected directly to Spirit.
No need for anything else. You can get a various data from such sensor in a high precision. And any other JETI sensor as well.
