Hi
I have set up my spirit GT with a Jeti DS-14 and a REX3 receiver.
Everything works as expected, but the altitude is not delivered as telemetry value. The placeholder is shown in the list of existing telemetry fields but never filled up with values.
Therefore i have not tried the automatic rescue yet, because i am not sure if it would work.
Is there anything i have to activate per software to get the value?

[SOLVED] Spirit GT altitude value not working
Hello,
Altitude should be always displayed as "S Altitude" telemetry value.
Value is non-zero only when model is flying.
Have you tried it in the air?

Hi , I have the problem in my case that the Function "Automatic Rescue" not works, but for what I understood, it's not need the GeoLink for this because the Spirit GT have a Presure sensor build in, also with this , the GT can mantain the Altitude too . May this is the problem my not works?pho wrote:Hi

Dr.Fleming: Your issue is only due to wrong configuration. You can share your settings in 4ds file so I can tell you what can be wrong.
It is needed that swashplate will react immediately by applying collective pitch whenever you will engage Rescue on the bench.
All units are tested to make sure all sensors are fully working.
It is better to not write about this problem in this thread, because this thread is about telemetry variable.

Hi , thank you for the Quick answer, but can you please put the most inportant Function like the "Rescue Normal" to work with one channel in the windows " Kanalzuordnung" there are so many functions, but not one of the most inportant, because this functions must be activated by a self returning switch from the transmitter, ( Like other Flybarless System's ( also this is the standard) also you not can expect from a Pilot to switch the programmed function earlier pregrogrammed in a second switch, because there is not so much time left if you are in a emergency situation to switch two switch to make the Function works.
Not everybody has an Yeti Transmitter with an Logic Board to overide a channel,
and can you please confirm, if I need the Telemetry cable for the Telemetry out from a Hobbywing ESC,
because I like to make the order.
thank you.
It works now.ZeXx86 wrote:Thank you.

Tried the automatic rescue feature, too. Set the height to 20m.
Works also like expected.
Funny thing when activating the rescue just right after start and watching the heli climbing up to 20m
The only thing i was wondering is the huge drift of the heitht value.
On ground, without running motor, the value always is held at zero.
After spooling up and flying the value shows a correct height for <1min. During the ongoing flight the value increases even if the heli is not climbing any more.
I made 4 flights and the height after 5 min of flight was 5 to 15 m on ground after landing.

Hi Admin, can you please confirm if this Function " Altitude Min Limit" "Spirit GT" works without GeoLink, pho wrote:It works now.ZeXx86 wrote:Thank you.

because on the Spirit Shop web page the following Functions are possible only with the GT:
Pressure Sensor
Yes, it is there and fully embedded. Unparalleled precision of 1 Pascal allow extremely precise altitude measurement . With the innovative algorithms and Sensor Fusion technology the precision goes further down. It can be utilized in a various of ways such as Altitude hold or even Automatic Rescue system. Stay tuned for the upcoming firmware!

Here too. Same problem. Also Altitude limit with Geolink does not work anymore...pho wrote:It works now.ZeXx86 wrote:Thank you.
