Spirit System

I now have the following Problem with setting up my microspirit:

I want to connect an Spektrum dsmx Satellite with the microspirit. But the Software tells me to connect the Satellite at the Sat Channel and to put a bind plug in the P/E/A Channel. I do not have a bind-plug. What exactly is a bind plug. I can create my own by connecting 2 of the 3 connections of the port right? Which ones do I have to connect? I am just asking for safety reasons I really do not want to damage anything. I guess i need to connect the outer two connectors and leave out the one in the middle? (I am also a bit confused because Microspirit does not have the cable (pole) order I am used to)

if you have JST-Servo adaptor, then please plug it in the P/A/E port and there insert a Bind plug.
This is only a single wire that is connecting two outer pins together.
