Hi,
i have a newly built Goblin Fireball 280 Havok with all stock components, except YGE ESC.
Problem is a very strong tail shaking, right after liftoff which is getting more and more till the whole Heli is shaking.
- Tail is running smoothly, checked that 3 times
- Tried with SpiritRS and new bought Spirit GTR, settings are "Goblin 280" from the Spirit First setup wizard. I also tried with rudder delay at 0 (https://www.spirit-system.com/phpBB3/vi ... all#p25120) but nothing changes.
Anybody a tip?
Thanks
Tino
Goblin Fireball 280 (Havok) shaking
Hello,
I think you should reduce your headgain (cyclic) about 5 points - I had the same problem and at first I thought its a tail problem but it wasn't -
If you look exactly you would see a shaking in elevator and ail axis and therefore reduce headgain -

tried this today, the shaking is better, but I have a continuously tail wag (left and right), which is getting better the higher the RPM.
I also went through the whole Spirit Tuning Guide, but nothing seems to makes it better.
Thanks

Hi Tino,
my tailgain is not very high, I can say it only on spektrum stettings -
In Normal Mode: 47 %
In Stunt 1: 42 %
In Stunt 2: 40 %
I can not say rpms but percentige in the radio (Spektrum)
Normal Mode: 60%
In Stunt 1: 68 %
In Stunt 2: 75 %
Its not very high rpm, I know, but for my flying style good enough -
I hope this will help you -
Best regards
Matthias

Hi Mattes61,
How did you configure in Spektrum the tail gain so they change when you go from normal to stunt 1 and 2 ?

Hi Pking,
this is very simple - If you choose in FM-Gyro an switch named flightmode.
In systemsetup you have an flight mode setup then you can define an dedicaded switch 1 only, in my case "switch A" and for the Hold Mode "switch H" -
In the Flight Mode Setup you have now a defined switch for flight modes and for Hold - Check here whether the switching states change as expected, if this is not the case, then the checkbox must be set to "1" -
Have you done that you can go back to Gyro - In Gyro you an set now for each flight mode an appropriate value.
You can also use the flight mode for an different pitch curve, expo or rotational speed (in %, for example 65, 75, 82)
I hope this will hepl you !
Best Regards
