Hi I have just install a spirit 2 fbl system on my 700 nitro. I follow the setup wizard without any special difficulty.
Before to try the first fly i decided to make a vibration analysis test. After i remove tail and main blades i follow the procedure of testing and when i spool up the rotor head speed to the value i usually fly i mention that the swash plate was very little shaking. Is that normal? Thanks

Hi again.
For nitro heli this is the procedure for vibes analyser? I mean i must remove tail and main blades? Or this procedure is only for electrik helis. Thanks

Hello,
swashplate should not move at all during bench testing.
When servos are doing something even during Spectrum Analysis then there is something very wrong.
It is for all models.
If you will test with tail blades, then the test is more useful.
If servos are moving only when Spectrum Analysis is not running, then this could signalize too high vibrations or that something is boucing to the unit or that unit itself is moving at the mounting pad.

Hi. Thanks for the response. Do you think is good idea to add metal plate between the unit and heli pad? I mean like sandwitch? Thanks

Only if your double sided tape will not cause a flexing. Supplied tape could be too soft for this. In almost all cases this is not needed.
If there is really a problem with vibration, then it will be very big that should be resolved as fast as possible. Because level that could disturb your Spirit unit is already that high that your model is damaging itself. For example bearings in the motor or anything that is not symetric.
This will be clearly visible from the analysis. By adding plate or trying to lower vibration only for unit it will only mask the problem, but it will cause still problems to the mechanics itself and will wear much faster than normally.

From Vibration analysis it is easy to locate and find the problem. So if you can provide me a vibration plot I can help.
