Realtime Logging / Advanced Logging - auto delete

I think it would be a great option to overwrite old files, when memory gets full.
Or delete some old files.
Or whatever other solution, which would make sure you can fly always, without checking and clearing the log files, and knowing that your flights will be logged.
Reason:
My primary reason for this type of logging is not to analyze logs for fun, but to have a log file in case of crash, to help in finding what the problem could be. For example to check if receiver was still working, what channels it was sending etc. (Of course I mean hardware-related crash, not pilot error).
In such scenario you don't analyze log files and don't have any chance to clear them, but you want the continuous logging to work.
