I want to try the Spirit Governor on a gasser heli. It will be most convenient to use the Spirit RPM Sensor with two active magnets on the Main Rotor Gear. Will the frequency of the RPM signal be enough for the Governor to work at its best? For example, Sensing Divider (active magnet count) = 2 and Gear Ratio = 1.0.

In most cases the RPM Sensor is measuring the speed of the motor or engine, which is a much higher frequency than measuring the speed of the Main Rotor, giving the Governor more data to work with. Does the Governor work better in this case?

When using the Spirit RPM Sensor on the Main Rotor Gear, would using more active magnets be better? For example, using 4 or 8 active magnets would give the Governor a higher RPM signal frequency to work with.
