Before I start.. this problem is in NO way a deficiency in the Spirit FBL... only in my head. My Spirit is working flawlessly and doing only what it is being told to do.

After changing a lot of the configuration in my TX, I crashed my Triabolo this weekend due to my own stupidity. If you have a TX that has flight mode specific values for the giro channel as my Jeti Ds-16 does then make sure the giro channel value is positive when in Fm throttle hold. Otherwise, you will be in rescue mode when you hit TH (As the TX is instructing the Spirit to do). You may not notice it when you spool up as I didn't but after you land and hit Thottle hold... You will be at full pitch with the motor off. My reactions where not quick enough to perform an AR in time.

My lesson is learned, before spooling up for the first time after making configuration changes, please check that the swash reacts to pitch as it should. If it does not, they you may have inadvertently set a negative gain value for TH and a disaster is waiting to happen as soon as you spool up.

Thank you for the warning. Sadly it happened in the flight.

Yes, it is important and I always recommend to do pre flight control, it may discover lot of issues.
I recommend to add warning to Jeti for negative Gyro values when you starting transmitter. This can solve the issue.

I believe your helicopter will fly soon again.

Thanks Thomas! Parts are already ordered. It is not a re-kit but when you crash, the bigger the bird, the bigger the bill :D
