Stick priority when in GPS mode

Is there a way to give more stick priority when in GPS mode? I have a friend is learning to hover, but he will never learn if he doesn't start moving the heli around. A full stick deflection hardly moves the helicopter.

Hello,

can your friend try Stabilisation (Normal) mode?
There input range is significantly increased.

Yes, exactly what we are going to try. Hes got to get off the GPS and I was going to try to push him a bit. Thank you
