Hello Spirit Pilots,

I am new to Spirit FBL - I have used MB previously on all my helis. Now I am setting up my RAW 580 with TX DX8 G2, RX SPM 4651 and SPM 9747 satellite.

I have setup Spirit GT with banks on CH7 (3 position switch) and rescue on CH8 with a toggle switch. All three banks are the same – auto rescue. When I activate CH8, the heli is levelled immediately, and gains altitude (the pitch is set at 62%). I have not tested the recovery from inverted flight yet.

Please advise – is my set up correct, in order to have auto rescue and hard deck?

Hello,

instead of toggle switch I recommend to use other switch for Auto Rescue. Because it should be enabled when you are flying. Now you will have to hold assigned toggle switch all the time if you want automatic rescue.
