Hi are there any plans to deveolp software for Iphone/Ipad like there is for android??

it is already in development, I believe it will be available soon.

Yes, it seems as in approx. 5 weeks there will be available new BT module that will be supported by Apple devices too. In the meantime we will try to prepare app for it.
So I believe it will work quite soon.

Our software was nearly ready for more than year, but because of issues in Apple licensing and interfacing it was not that easy.
For now we are waiting for BT module RN4677 which is the latest module from Microchip.
This is the only BT module that is satisfying our needs.
Unfortunately manufacturer delayed it for many weeks and they are still not available. Then they will swap our current modules so it can be used for both Android and Apple devices and even more.

I just checked microchipdirect.com website. It now says Dec 2015.

The module is available on some places right now, so we have ordered some and are working on the new PCB.
