Hello,
I tested the automatic rescue for a colleague on the Spirit today. flew to about 10 meters, rescue activated. The heli started to save and stopped after about 2 seconds. So flown up and down, automatic rescue if the minimum height works fine.
Tested a second time, worked again. Tested a third time, nothing happened...
Has anyone ever had this? why does he save twice and not the third time?
The switch has not been touched in the meantime!
Unfortunately, now the trust is gone
Spirit GT automatic rescue problem
Hello,
the problem could happen if the switch for Automatic Rescue is turned off or if some other function is triggered. For example even if you are switching Banks and there is some other function programmed.

Automatic rescue is placed on a switch, at about 10 meters height, I activated the rescue, it worked wonderfully twice, the third time with the back down, absolutely nothing happened. I didn't touch the switch in between, nor did I switch banks. That's the strange thing.
If model was rather upside down - I mean just 1° over vertical position then it is possible it was adding compensation factor. This is set in the software and for each model should be set differently.
Have you tried it upside down when model was level?
If model is vertical than pressure near the rotor head is very different too. So it can take just longer.
Have you tried lower altitude than expected? For example what happened after 3 meters under expected level?
