Is there any reason I cannot use port CH0 on a Spirit GT for dual power supply ?
Thank you

I think the only reason is that you need the ch0 for a servo
other than that, is the perfect place to inject a backup power supply
( in addition to aux 1 / aux 2 )

Many thanks for your reply. Just what I wanted to hear. I am trying to free up channels for GeoLink functions.

Hello,
CH0 port has nothing to do with GeoLink. You can use this port for anything.
GeoLink functions are controlled by channels of your radio transmitter.

I had the back up power supply cable plugged into Aux 2 on the Spirit Unit. I am using the dedicated GeoLink Channel option to trigger the GeoLink features I want to use - it seems more straightforward and frankly I didn't understand how triggering by engaging the Stabi function would work in practice. For this reason I wanted to maximise the number of free channels available. What I am unsure about is if I had the back up power supply plugged into the Aux 2 port on Spirit, would this mean I could not then use Aux 2 channel 7 in my transmitter to trigger a GeoLink function (or Stabilisation function for that matter). Hence the question about moving the back up power supply to Ch0.
Many thanks

Hi
no - the port Aux2 is just a connector on the Spirit unit. it has nothing to do with your radio (TX/RX) channel. you can use this channel for "F:" functions anyhow (wether something is connected on the unit or not). this is, btw, the same for all servo/bec connectors on the Spirit unit.... ch0-ch4, aux, thr have nothing to do with your radio channels.
