High tail swing on a 700 heli…

Hello!
What parameters should be set first for tail swing.
My 700 has strong tail swing at high rpm so that I immediately have to switch back to a lower rpm!
Pirouette consistency I have already set from 170 to 150.
Cyclic Gain to 60, Rudder Common Gain to 1.40.
In the Jeti transmitter high speed at 55%

How did you set the parameters for a 700 heli?

Greetings Georg

You mean in the transmitter under 55%?

Hello,

what is your tail servo and can you send your settings file please?
It should work pretty well with Pirouette Consistency even at 175.
On the other hand you can set Rudder Common Gain to 1.0x.

Possibly your Rudder Delay value is too high, bu this depends on your servo.

Then you will be able to increase Gyro Gain and it should be still fine.

Hello!
I have set Rudder Delay to 3.
Servo is a GDW BLS895MG
I had the Pirouette Consistency already on 160.
Will now times Pirouette Consistency go back to 175 and Rudder Common Gain set to 1.10x.
Before it was at 1.40x.
Tail sensitivity in the transmitter to 60%.
Is that ok?

Greetings Georg

Yes, it should be fine.

But your settings file will still help a lot, becuse there are more things that can be wrong.
Without asking for each parameter I can check them all quickly.

For 700 class helicopter 170 is usually the minimum that is required for a proper operation.
If you will get bad performance, the issue might be also in a very tight mechanics.

Please make sure to use a ball reamer for each ball linkage of the model. Some models will work poorly, especially when they are new, because linkages are all very tight.
It should be butter smooth with zero friction.

I hope the data will help you.
