[SOLVED] Reverting to 3.3.1

I'm having all sorts of issues on a uSpirit & Pro after updating to 3.4.1 from 3.3.1. I wish I had never updated my 4 Spirit units.

I have one old original red unit on a Gaui X3 that is flying well, so I know it can work, but why an Align 600 (Pro unit) and Oxy3 (uSpirit) are a complete mess is beyond me. Maybe if I got back to 3.3.1 on those two my issues we disappear. I'm afraid to try flying the 4th unit now.

If I have one unit on 3.4.1 and three units on 3.3.1, do I need two installations of the Windows software to program them using the usb cable?

Hello,

you can perform downgrade at any moment to 3.3.1.

However I am afraid it will be rather not related to firmware, but maybe to settings.
There are no changes related to flight performance that could affect it between these versions.
So flight behavior should be identical.

But it is easiest to try. Downgrading process is same as updating. Then you can confirm it if it was helpful or not.

I did the test for you,
as long as you install different version in different folders, you should be good to go
( eg. ) "\Spirit Settings331" "\Spirit Settings341"

the only limitation I found is that you cannot run more than one spirit settings at a time
but don't seem a big limitation to me

Further testing has concluded that the uSpirit on the Oxy works fine with 3.4.1. I had settings wrong which are fixed.

There is no issue with the 3.4.1 fw.

Running two versions of the Windows desktop application works, but is not needed.

There is some hardware issue with the Pro unit I have and this has been communicated via PM.
