Free throttle channel if Banks are used?

Hi!

Is it possible to free up the throttle channel if I use Bank switching?
Since, throttle value is saved in banks anyway, the throttle channel (Channel 1) could be used for different functions like "Output to Ch0", etc.

Currently Channel 1 can't be selected in the drop down menu.....(see attached screenshot)

Hello,

this is not possible, because Throttle channel is used for Throttle function and is controlled always from your radio, even if it is unassigned - in this case it is plugged in the receiver most likely.
Throttle values can't be programmed in the Spirit unit/Banks either.

Can you explain what do you mean by "saved in banks"?

Thanks for the quick answer!

I'm sorry I thought that the head speed could be set for each bank. Mixed it with "Max. Head Speed" somehow.

So I have to use flight modes besides Banks in order to set the head speeds!?

Would it make sense to implement the head speed as a bank-related parameter?
This would allow us to have one more channel and from FBL perspective everything could be controlled by bank-settings, which follows the concept of the bank functionality.

Thank you!

You still have to control when motor is ON and OFF. So without one free channel this is not possible.
The only solution would be to have 0 headspeed for one bank.
When headspeed is defined in banks, you are limited to bank count. Current solution allow to change headspeed whenever you want and have even 100 different head speeds in theory.

If you want to free up one channel then you can unassign Gyro Gain. But then you will loose for example Rescue/Stabilisation modes.
