SPIRIT GT. JETI XBUS.
Green bars all move correctly
surfaces too
1. gyro reactions are correct,BUT the servo limit functions are all reversed? left is right up is down?? WTF?
2. Rudder will achieve full deflection at limit function setting but not under command from the transmitter despite 150% deflection set?
3. selecting bank 1 or 2 sees the program disconnect, no separate settings can be achieved weather selected on the transmitter or in the program...Why???
Frustration
No adjustment....No integration from the jeti transmitter like i was expecting?
nothing in Explorer, do i need to download a LUA?

Xbus? This is not supported by Jeti.

In AERO or HELI software/firmware?

Jeti Exbus integration is only available for HELI.
https://spirit-system.com/dl/jeti/SPIRIT-3-4-1-r2.zip

There is no integration for AERO, setting is only done using SW AERO or Jetibox in the transmitter.

What firmware do you have in the unit and what software?
The latest SW AERO is 1.6.0, the firmware update for the unit is 1.6.1
Can you post a printscreen of what exactly is reversed?

I assume theres no way to balance twin elevator servos? mechanically its not working.
as the electronic adjustment has gone ie only taking one elevator input.

ok. I got fed up and got a another spirit out the box, this one is a gtr.
It is now flashed and all is working as expected, i have banks, servos are adjustable and the right directions are relevant.
Now the Gt that was problematic i took from a failed project of putting it on a flybared heli, i too could not configure it, in heli mode, as soon as you started the engine the pitch would stop working entirely.

I tried to get Thomas to sort it here...viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5479#p39566

So the unit must be faulty, please send returns label under warranty.
I will also require some more GTR.

Hello

1. This could happen if Position of the unit is selected incorrectly or servos such as CH1 and CH3 are swapped or it require just reversing the servos in the Servos tab.
2. That is correct, Spirit unit is doing active stabilisation - same as for helicopters. Stick operation at the ground is different than what is happening in the air.
It also depends on what your Global Gain is. Higher value will show as bigger deflections.
3. This could happen if there was some invalid value configured in the unit or used software version is older.
It can be resolved for example by pressing Reconnect and saving the settings at current Bank.

Definitively the unit is not faulty. If there is some difference it just mean there is different settings between units. It is very easy to Save the settings to your computer and then load it in another unit - but for each bank, not just one. Then behavior will be identical.
If something is happening that is not usual it does not mean the unit is faulty. When one will understand what is going on then each odd thing can be explained.

so with identical settings, why with another spirit are non of these problems evident?
