Im trying to understand the correct procedure to setup a GeoLink v2. I have a spirit GT and is functioning perfectly in flights. According to the manual do I need to place it on a flat surface e.g. 0 deg x and y axis relative to the spirit GT and click "set as zero", and after that I can mount it on the tail? I fly a SAB Kraken 580 and the tail isn't inline with the spirit GT angle. so hoping someone can confirm this, thanks

Guess I'll have to go and figure it out myself ;) .... Just clueless to what the purpose is for the accelerometer included in the Geo Link, as if it does make use of the sensors during flight then the mounting should be rigid in my opinion as opposed to double sided tape on the sides as it may allow it to vibrate due to prop wash .

Hello,

accelerometers and gyro and compass are used altitude measurement and for vibration measurements. Changing tape will not help. No need to proceed differently than described in manual.
Tail inclination is not a problem.
