Hi, I have a goblin 570 with spirit2 fbl and I have little tail wagging.
The tail keeps good I have nice and sharp stops,
when am at 0 pitch I mean when rotor is not loaded I have momentarily smal slow tail wag left and right, someone can know how to solve this problem?
I have align ds650 tail servo, with 80% gain
Ruder delay at number 3 , Advanced/Piro Consistency 170,
Also rudder is very smooth without any binding,
Please somebody can help me with this problem? Thanks

Hi a small correction on my post, when I say 0 pitch on rotor I mean the cycling rotor not the tail one, thanks

Hello,
this kind of problem could be due to a governor settings.
Changing Governor Gains can fix it.
Pirouette Consistency between 175 - 180 should be possibly better.
Make sure that tail slider is not touching anything, especially not to be a bent over a guide.

Hi, thanks for the response. I don’t use governor for the moment. I fly with throttle curves only. I will try change the Advanced/Piro Consistency to 175 and will let you know. Thanks

Hi, I check today the Heli but no any changes. I would like to mention that I remove complete the rod guide so not to have any binding on tail travelling. I also find out that during hovering and when I apply little ruder input( so tail to move slowly) then the tail in move like robotic. When I apply more input (so the tail moves faster) then tail is smooth nice and stable and I have nice sharp stop,
What you think can cause this? Any help will appreciate.
Thanks

This could be result of RPM not holding well, similar as with Governor that is not configured well.
If using only curves then requirements for tail can be significantly bigger.
Instead using Governor can help very dramatically or at least changing throttle curve to a better shape.
So it is not needed to change your rudder parameters, only make your RPM to be stable.

@Zino
Why don't you fly the Spirit 2 Governor? It's already very good in the default setting!
For me its better than YGE or Hobbywing governor store.

I will try to fix RPMs first and I will come back to you. I think I will use spirit governon thanks
