[SOLVED] Can’t enable rate mode

Spirit 2 with PWM receiver (Sanwa Airtronics)

My rudder is stuck in heading hold. I have set the gyro to a three position switch on Aux 1. The switch uses +75, -50, and -100. I have the stabi function set to switch and channel 5 in the Spirit settings app.

I read that negative value should enable rate mode. What am I doing wrong?

Correction: I have the gyro set to channel 5. Stabi function is set to channel 7 and aux 2 for rescue normal.

Hello,
if you don't have stabi mode enabled then a gain for example -50 is rate mode and +50 is heading hold mode -
If you use an stabi mode then only some modes have rate mode as you see here in the manual:

Thanks! Got it working now. I had to select stabi/function/selected by channel. This enables stabilization and rescue subtabs.
