Spirit GTR with both Geolink AND Cool Kosmik Telemetry?

In case you do not know something or you are not sure, here is the right place for your question.

I currently have a Geolink V2 linked via Sat 1 to my Spirit GTR.
Is it also possible to link a Kontronik Cool Kosmik 160A HV to the GTR using the Sat 2 port with the Spirit Kontronik lead or via a Telme cable to the GTR telemetry sensor port? Or must the Kontronik telemetry cable be linked via Sat 1 and is it still either one or the other, Geolink or Telemetry only?
Many thanks for any insights.
I have not used the Kontronik Cool Kosmik recently and last used it with the JLogs a while ago, so am a little unfamiliar with the Spirit cable or the Telme! It seems the Spirit cable for Kontronik has the JST-ZH for the satellite port and the TelMe has a servo connector?

Thank you Mattes61,
Yes I have seen that page, but the images of cables in the Spirit shop and in their manual do not necessarily look the same and I am still confused as to which will work with my older Kontronik Cool Kosmik!

Hello,
I have no Kontronik ESC so that I can not verify that what cable you need - you must look in the settings of your Kontronik ESC if transmission with TelMe is possible - As said in the link you must have the latest firmware in your ESC -
The Kontronik V2 cable is made for Jeti telemetrie as said -
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... _Telemetry

If your ESC has not the possibility to set data transmission with TelMe you should take the other cabe...

Tomas can definitely help you, maybe he can also say something about it -

Edit: False Link corrected ! (TelMe) 31.10.2023 - sorry -

Hello,

linked page is not correct. It is for OLD (deprecated) protocol.
For the latest telemetry protocol you have to proceed according this guide:
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... _Telemetry

Wiring there is much easier.

Thank you, Tomas,
I will get one of those cables!
The link you mentioned specifies the 'primary' satellite socket Sat1, so I guess if I already have the Geolink connected into Sat1, then I cannot use the cable for Kontronik telemetry at the same time? I know this situation has been asked about before, but I have not seen a solution yet.
I just thought that because the old TelMe had a servo connector that it may have worked directly to the Spirit unit?
The secondary satellite port, Sat2, will not work then for telemetry?
Regards,
Andy

Hello,
the link is now corrected -
The text to TelMe was fine, the link was the same as below... and that wasn't right - sorry !

Look in the manual for the geo link here it states the geolink should be connected to sat2 port:
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... k_Mounting
See under point wiring (Spirit GTR):

Really good to know, thanks, Mattes61.
I will test the Geolink connection first in Sat1, before changing the ESC to Kontronik Kosmik from the older heli and trying telemetry in the Sat1 socket.
