Today I wanted to do a diagnostic spectrum analyzer test but every time I started the test I got the message that the connection was unstable. I checked the connections several times and restarted the pc and the heli. Same result.
I could still set everything up, bec test worked etc.
What could be wrong?
(Solved) USB interface not stable
Hello,
can you let me know if your version is 32bit or 64bit?
You can find it in the Configuration window (bottom left button icon), About tab.
We checked it many times for hours and can't reproduce the issue yet.

Have you downloaded software 3.6.2 before it was released? I mean pre-release that I linked here at the forum. I am asking because there were changed between release 3.6.2 and pre-release version although both are named in the same way. For now we tested it at several computers with Windows running for hours without a single problem. I am sure this problem is software issue, not hardware.
Is something special with your computer? Is it tablet or some other unusual device?
Possibly installing new USB driver could help.

Thank you very much for the reports.
We are trying to find any computer with the issue and replicate the problem. Unfortunately we are not successful, it works with all our computers perfectly.
But I am sure the problem can be resolved by us. We will need few more days to find what could be wrong.
Does it happen also in Demo mode?

Hi, Same problem here. Downloaded 3.6.2 and it nearly always "has your system is unstable and then crashes". I tried two different laptops both 64 bit Win 10 and different cables. It might be worth noting the Spirit unit has V2.4.1 software. It got to the recovery mode a couple of times but crashed before the firmware was installed.
Is there somewhere we can download older versions of the Windows program and see if that works?
Ok, so I found a version 3.4.1 install file (on my laptop). Installed this and it ran with no issues. I updated the FBL from 2.4.1 to 3.6.2. Of course, the 3.4.1 win software couldn't talk to the 3.6.2 install.
Re-installed 3.6.2 Win software and got the same unstable connection error. "Do you want to go to recovery mode", click yes and it reads the FBL software as 3.6.2. (I stopped here)
So issues with Win 3.6.2. I wonder if the Mac version works OK?
Thanks
Adrian

We were finally able to find a computer with the issue and already fixed it.
I believe that tomorrow there will be new software version.
