Wiring for Spirit GT as external governor for YGE Saphir 125

Hello,

I'm planning to equip my SAB RAW 500 with a Spirit GT + Geolink v2.

I have read on the forum that it is recommended to use the Spirit FBL as a governor instead of the internal governor of the ESC, an YGE Saphir 125 in my case.

I'm not entirely sure of the wiring though.

Is my following understanding right?
  • - Connect the red wire (RPM signal) from the blue connector of the ESC (see image attached) to the PIT pin (pin in the middle of ELE/PIT/AIL port) of the Spirit GT. What about the orange (telemetry) and brown (ground) wire from the blue connector? Should these be connected to the SAT1 port as would be the case when using the internal governor function of the ESC?
    - Connect the 3-wire black servo connector of the ESC to AUX1 of the Spirit GT.
    - Connect the 2-wire black servo connector of the ESC to AUX2 of the Spirit GT (optional?).
Thanks in advance :)

Hello,

you can connect telemetry according this page:
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... _Telemetry

It would be best to remove RPM lead from blue connector. Then to plug it in a new one - it should go at the PIT pin.

AUX1,2 can be used for BEC.

Many thanks for confirming! Indeed, I was planning to remove the RPM wire from the blue connector and put it in the middle slot of a servo connector to connect to the PIT pin. The two other wires from the blue connector go to the SAT1 port using the JST-Servo adapter cable as described in the YGE telemetry page.
