Spirit GT receiver redundancy

Hi,

Is it possible to connect redundant receiver to Spirit GT unit ?
I'm planning to use 2 x R-XSR receivers at the same time, but this is not an optimal solution I think.

If the receiver fails electronically or the connection between Spirit GT and receiver 1 which gets SBUS input from receiver 2 as redundancy fails, then there is no connection to unit.

So, my question is would it be possible to use Sat2 port for a redundant receiver just like Srxl2+dsmx sat combo ?
