Technical question: GeoLink V2 / Automatic Rescue

Hi, I have a technical question: Will adding the GeoLink V2 increase the accuracy/precision/reaction time of the automatic Rescue with a Hard Deck altitude ?

I would also like to know if the geolink supplements the barometer for increased accuracy or completely replaces it, because gps is not really known for its altitude accuracy. I assume it still uses baro and accelerometers as well but it would be nice to get clarification on this.
From the manual I did find this though: Geolink will have its own function called altitude limit that can be used instead of rescue (automatic). It performs the same function, but has the additional option to set both an upper and lower limit, as well as taking into account the model velocity to trigger rescue earlier in case the model is approaching the deck very fast.

Hello,
GeoLink has own sensors that are used for GeoLink functions. GeoLink function called Altitude Limit is very similar to Automatic Rescue. Automatic Rescue that is builtin in Spirit GT will use Spirit sensors. So you can decide at any moment which one do you wish to use.
GeoLink v2 itself has same barometer as Spirit GT, but altitude measurements are really enhanced with GPS/GNSS Altitude measurement and also laser measurement and measurements of all sensor movements.
For the most pilots Automatic Rescue will work well enough in any case.
On the other hand GeoLink has direct support for adjusting "reaction time" depending on how quickly model descend.
