[SOLVED] Alternate Wave channel order needed

Now that Sbus is supported I'm trying to setup a RX7 receiver to another flybarless unit that expects a different channel order than Wave tx uses. I have two W1 units, and four GT units at the present time, but have several helicopters with other FBLs. I would like to use my Wave tx for them too. Wave uses Throttle, Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, Gyro, Pitch. Which, believe is chan 1 to 6. I need Ail., Elev., Thro., Rud., Gyro, Pitch, and be able to define channels up to 9 total. I've changed the inputs in the Function screen to sorta work, but wonder if there is a better way. Hope this makes sense.
Thanks for any help.
Mike

Hello,
you can copy model with adjusted channel order to minimize requirement of adjusting it again.
In any case when configuring RX7 to SBUS it will ask you for the mapping in the update 1.0.22. So then it will match Futaba mapping out of the box.

Thanks to suggestions from Spirit System Support, I've been able to define a model to use a Spirit RX7 receiver to control another brand of flybarless unit. The problem I was having was trying to copy and existing model and make changes to make this work. The correct way is to start with a new model that will allow you to define channel order for SBus.
Thanks again for the help.

You are welcome. There is difference between created models - some are for Spirit units, some for general models with any unit (just like with other radios). The first type is specially designed for Spirit units where many features and functions are done for user automatically. So required features that are available for one model type are not available for the other (because there is no need for them). So it is important to pay attention what model type is used/created.
