All,
I understand the below questions would be better posted under the “General Discussion” tab. I posted a question about a week ago and did not get a response/answer, so I thought I’s try posting in the “Support” tab.
I’m new to the Spirit World and have read the manual and searched this Blog for a lot of information regarding the FB’s unit and the GeoLink.
The questions I have about the function of the GL are listed below. (my Geolink has been calibrated by the manuals instruction).
1) I’m having trouble understanding what the “Compass Heading Correction” function is for? Is it used after the calibration procedure is completed to “fine tune” true North?
2) In the Aid Menu where you set the altitude for individual functions such as “Return to Home” and “Altitude Limit”, what sets the altitude zero? The point of spool up?
3) I fly at multiple locations at different elevations. Will the GL know what zero altitude is at each location?
4) Is/can the GL zero altitude be checked on the GL Information tab in the software, the same place “true North” is checked?
Thank You,
Scott
