I am setting up a helicopter for the first time with a WAVE radio and a W1 flight controller. I am using a YGE 205A ESC. I am trying to figure out how to get the WAVE and YGE ESC to "integrate with each other. Which YGE ESC telemetry option do I need?

Hello,
it should be YGE option.
Please see our manual:

Thank you for the prompt reply. The manual states the Spirit unit needs version 3.7.3. The latest version I can access is 3.7.2. How do I access 3.7.3?
Thank you
Thank you
This is stated for HobbyWing v5 ESC setup. For YGE it works for long time.

I’m having trouble getting it to work correctly on mine.
WAVE radio, W1 unit, YGE 205 ESC. I’ll post pictures and maybe a video if I cannot get it to work.

Make sure that YGE is selected, not OpenYGE.
If you can see telemetry values, it should work.

Despite my best efforts, I cannot get the YGE ESC to fully integrate with the Spirit WAVE. The YGE ESC, WAVE radio, and W1 units are using the most up to date software (shown in the video). I connected the YGE blue telemetry wire to the Spirit adapter which I connected to the SAT1 port of the W1, and cut the red wire (shows in the video). I am able to get telemetry data, but I cannot program the YGE ESC from the WAVE radio (shown in the video).
I published the video. It is 1:49min long. I tried to make it as short as reasonably possible.

Thank you for the video.
I can't see anything wrong there unfortunately. I fear the only issue could be in some recent YGE firmware.
I am not sure, but please make sure that nothing is connected at the X pin (upper one).
We will try the same firmware with our YGE.
Also if some buffer pack is used, could you retry without it?

I have nothing connected to the T2/RPM/X port. I am not using a buffer pack at this either.
I hope to find a solution.
