Could this be static? Microwaves? Angry gods :-)

This is so damn weird and I'm baffled. I'll try to keep this as concise as possible.

So, two different helis, both 700s with belt tails, different brands of servos.

Heli 1 (Spirit Pro), was flying fine then started feeling strange a few minutes into the flight and was getting hard to control. I landed and one servo is centering way off, like 30 degrees higher. Several power down and up cycles and it still does it. I take it home, check everything in the FBL unit, reset to defaults etc, the servo is still doing it. (mind you, it works fine, just centering way off from where it was before).

I unplug the servo from the FBL, plug it back in and suddenly it's fine! And on the bench it has been totally back to normal. I just thought, OK, servo is faulty, maybe it's something that happens when it warms up, whatever, and I have ordered a new servo.

But then, the plot thickens:

Heli 2 (Spirit 2), hasn't been flown very much but has been fine. Today, a couple minutes into the flight it starts freaking out, nose wants to pitch down, felt like I had little or no control, I almost thought it was going in, wrestled it back down safely. Powered down and went to the pits. I then wondered if it was vibes due to different tail blades, so took it out and spooled up, and saw crazy high vibes in the telem. But the elevator servo was jittering badly and constantly, seemed worse at high collective.

Back at home the ele servo is still jittering like crazy. I wondered if that could cause the vibes, so spun it up with only tail blades and very very low vibes, so not the tail blades.

Then I thought I wonder if it still jitters when connected to a different FBL on another heli, tried that and no jitters, seems totally fine! Then, and this is the big plot twist folks, plugged it back into the FBL where it was before and it's fine now! No jitters! I am beyond baffled.

So, although both helis had been powered down several times, the common denominator is that after un-plugging and replugging the offending servo, the problem appears to be gone. (and before anyone suggests: no, the wires are fine, plugs very tight fitting, no possible way it was loose plug)

Could be two separate faulty servos and just coincidence, but damn is that some weird stuff. I should add, this did not happen one day after the other. The heli 1 incident was a couple weeks ago, many flights with other helis on the same TX in between these two incidences and no issues. (using Jeti DS12, Rex3 and Rex7 connected via EXBus)

'Any ideas?

Hello,

the problem could possibly happen if you are using incompatible JETI integration BIN file.
JETI are unfortunately offering very old BIN files in the JETI Studio causing problems.

It is needed to download and upload the latest BIN file for Spirit until you will see all values correctly there.

There is chance that after configuring something with this old integration file it will corrupt settings of other parameter.
If it is happening on its own, then I fear it is something with servo. Most likely slipping servo arm.

I do all the setup on a PC. But I also recently downloaded the latest Jeti file as well.

But in any case, a setup error would not account for the phenomenon I observed (nor would the servo correct itself).
