Spirit Mobile app Does not match issue

I just install an BT module to a GT FBL unit, but I get a firmware and software conflict massage and will not connect. Yes, the BT has been paired.
Firmware: 4.0.0
Software: 3.7.X
TIA for any help.

You need to update the software from the download page

This is what I downloaded to my IX14 Spektrum android-based transmitter. Can't open, "trouble parsing the file".
Maybe need something extra to load, or maybe need to delete the original spirit mobile app. no clue

The SW "spirit-4.0.0r3-android.apk" you have downloaded is to install in your smartphone to use the correct Spirit System Setup version.
But not in the transmitter " IX14 Spektrum" as you wrote.
