unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this.
Current is measured by ESC which could be very imprecise at some situations. Especially when ESC load is too low, it will return 0 instead of real measurement. This can happen more often in situation when ESC rating is much higher than real load, because sensor is blind for low currents.
If you need more precise measurement we recommend to get ESC with more precise circuits.

But nothing changed from previous firmwares. Measurement is 100% identical (or at least should be).

First, I updated JETI, SPIRIT, and CC. I'm going to fly short distances again and measure the power consumption. I have five machines and haven't changed anything; there's no reason why it shouldn't work anymore—it's too useful and safe.
