Spirit System

Hi,

i use Spirit RS, Spirit GTR with Jeti.
Like to use the Wave transmitter but don't want to buy a lot of new W1.

Do you plan an update to flash the internal jeti receiver?
This would be great for us and pushes the Wave to more user.

Jeti receivers cannot be updated to support Spirit protocol. You must use an external RX7 receiver from Spirit.

Yes i know. But the Ex port from Jeti seems to be outside. So the spirit owner knows the connections inside.
For me, it seems that Jeti is manufacturing the circuit board for spirit , but I'm not sure.
So maybe it's only software.

unfortunately we have no access to the receiver part of Spirit RS/GTR. This is locked by JETI. So even if we want to do it, it is not possible.
For this reason we developed our own receivers that can be modified in any way we need.

On the other hand soon we can offer trade-in program for RS/GTR for W1.
Another possibility is to wait few weeks for our new micro receiver that can be used together with RS and GTR, similarly as Spirit RX7 external receiver. But for lower cost.

Hi, how can I connect a uRX to a RS or GTR?
Wiring manual shows only RX7?

Wiring is identical as RX7. This mean that signal pin has to be removed from original servo connector and connected at the E2 pin.

Thank you very much. If I switch to Spirit uRX in System Settings , is the intern Jeti Receiver off?
Or Will It still transmit or received Data ?

It will be active, but in a receiving mode which is basically standby until you will pair radio with it.
