Dear Spirit developers,

I tested the new Jeti 4.0.4 integration and found a few bugs:

Spirit RS with the latest 4.0.4 r3 software.

Main tab:
Click “Close the menu”:
Apply changes?
Yes – nothing happens.
No – nothing happens either.

You can exit the integration using the Back button at the bottom left—the changed values are saved there.

Actually, it would make more sense to have two buttons without further prompts:
Exit and discard changes
Exit and apply changes

Diagnostic tab: All functions are displayed with incorrect labels, e.g., Roll is displayed as Rudder, Nick as Gyro Gain, etc.
Of course, the assignments are correct, in the PC-Software they are displayed correct.

I haven’t tested all the parameters, but I hope the safety-critical ones are assigned correctly.

Hi,
I have the behaviour described by Till when trying to save Spirit parameters using the transmitter. This is made more confusing by the way that some parameters can be saved but others cannot. Some parameters e.g. Cyclic Feed Forward can be saved using the transmitter, but other parameters e.g. cyclic reverse, cannot be saved using the transmitter? They can only be saved using the PC software. Did I get that right?

Maybe it makes sense for some parameters to be set only from the PC but it is confusing to let the user think a change has been saved using the transmitter when it is not. I found this by experimentation. How does a user know which parameters can be saved using the transmitter?

Spirit firmware is 4.0.4, the Spirit bin file on the Tx is also 4.0.4. The Tx is Jeti DC24 with firmware updated on 6/6/2026..
The Spirit unit appears to be working normally in other ways including telemetry data.

Update: The BEC Tester does not work when commanded from the Tx. Nothing happens.

The menu close bug is gone. Unfortunately the diagnostic tab is still incorrect, It's no big deal to me, but it might confuse a beginner.
The parameters I tested worked as aspectet.
