With the Wave transmitter and Spirit W1 FBL, I use Flight Modes to change parameters such as Head Speed or Tail Gain during flight.
In addition, I would like to assign individual parameters to dedicated switches, for example Elevator Filter or Flight Style. While this could also be done with Flight Modes, it would require creating many Flight Modes, which would quickly become cluttered.
Therefore, I tried using the Wave's Function Menu. I assigned an input switch and mapped the Elevator Filter parameter to it. In the Function List, everything appears to work correctly—the assigned parameter/switch is shown, and the values change between -100, 0, and 100 as I move the switch. However, when I open the Advanced menu, the Elevator Filter value does not change at all; it simply stays at its current setting.
What am I doing wrong?
Being able to assign individual parameters to switches this way would be extremely useful and greatly appreciated.
I would prefer not to use banks.
