If an FBL system incorporates a spectrum analyzer—like Spirit or Rotorflight—the processor identifies abnormal noise peaks (typically generated by the rotation of the main rotor or tail rotor) and applies filters to attenuate this noise, ensuring the cleanest possible signal reaches the gyro. However, the more filters that are applied, the greater the latency in the control loop, which degrades the overall feel.
