Hi,
Today I wanted to test the rescue for the first time on mine Goblin 380. Piro optimization is good, all settings were good. I did the initialization and tested rescue on the ground swashplate was moving straight up and down. I did my normal flight for a minute and landed checked bail out and swashplate was moving always with one servo pointing down while rescue on the ground. I restarted the heli while on the ground swashplate was moving correctly again before take off. I flew the heli did about 5 bailouts with slight cyclic movement the side everything worked as it should. I then did a inverted resuce the heli flipped back and rescue worked fine, then I did a 90 turn with cyclic while in hover meaning side of canopy pointing to the ground and hit rescue heli tilted down and crashed insead of level and push up??

Hi,
I am afraid, but most probably Pirouette Optimization was not good. If you see that it is not perfectly level, then you have to land immediately as something is very wrong.
Unfortunately on some helicopters it can fly fine even with wrong piro optimization.
Please recheck the parameter.

I checked everything just now piro is 100% correct I'm uploading the video now will post a link soon showing 3 successful rescues and then the crash something definetlay went wrong with the unit. We tested this on 2 helicopters and the swash tilting to the side after regular flight and landing is happening on both units but bailout works ?? this is very strange

Thank you very much for the video.
Piro Optimization is really reversed

You can see it after 90° that the swashplate is tilted in different angle than at the beginning.

We will try to make video that can clearly show how this parameter should be configured so it can't happen again.
I hope you will repair the helicopter soon. I am sure it will work correctly now.

my friend told me that this is the correct way, he said tilted part of swash should follow helicopter direction, I'm turning clockwise and swash follows clockwise I don't get it how its reverse of what is the correct way?? can you please post a video showing this also why did the bail out work the first 2 times??? I love the unit and don't want to make it sound like its bad that's why I wanted you to see the videos if its wrong I will fix the heli and try again only need a tail and shaft cheap fix

It can work correctly from the beginning but as you start doing more maneuvers it will be inprecise more and more with increasing time.
Exactly this is happening when piro optimization is reversed. It can work even for few flights with wrong settings if you just hovering and flying from left to right.
To be sure that it is configured correctly helicopter must be on the spot during pirouettes. Flight performance will be much better too when configured correctly.
When rotating with the helicopter with enabled Piro Optimization (tuning) the swashplate must be always tilted to the same angle with respect to the ground as if you are not rotating helicopter at all.
From your video you can see that the angle is changing very noticeably, so wrong settings can be determined even with 45-90° turn on the ground.

Great, yes when I did piros I notice the heli was not stable, thank you very much for the clarifications and hopefully it will be all good now!!!!
