Ive set my 550L dominator up with a DMX sat and most things looks okey, but i want some INFO 2 double Check my setup ?

1. Ive setup my Banks on Aux 2 (JR9II) by having Ch 5(gear) unassigned in software.
2. My gain is +60 (Bank0....disabled) -60 (Bank1.....Stabilisation normal) -60 (Bank2.......rescue normal).

In the Diagnostics software with my Tx Rx on and connected......if I switch my Aux2 (on my JR) for Banks 0,1,2.....I can see the Banks indicator change, but NOTHING else Changes......Is That normal ?

However, If I change the Banks at the bottom of the screen from 0 to 1 to 2......I can see the Gyro indicator change to HF ?

Is this normal ?

3. In Bank 2 (Rescue)......should I notice anything else change in the Diagnostics screen, coming from Bank 0 ?

4. Can you please give me more info on Checking/testing the Normal vs Stabi vs Rescue Mode (while on the bench with no blades?) as to be 100% sure that the unit is set up correctly ?

I.E. a. What should the swash movements be after Initialization in the different modes/banks ?
b. The Do's and Do'nts (after setup) while checking the unit for correct movement ?

Ive read for hours on end on the internet and set up this unit for days now, but PLEASE I need to be sure that it is working correctly in all the modes.

All the help I can get as I'm very new to this.

I am on holidays but I try to help you at least in short.

4. You only have to set Rescue Collective pitch so after the activation cyclic will go up.
Then make sure that Piro Optimization is configured correctly.

Initialization should be still same. Only when there is error in the log then you will see different initialization.
Testing the rescue on the ground will not show you if it is working, if both mentioned parameters are OK then it will work.

Maybe one more question:

Is it correct to connect a spectrum Ar8000 dmx rx as a PWM / Classic rx, because i can only connect one Sat as is (no adapter cable) ?

Im asking because I lose my 3 SW (Aux Ch) this way.....so only 2 banks available via my gear sw on my JR XII ?

Yes, and in this case you need to connect the Sat to the Ar8000 - not to the FBL

If you want to connect a second Sat to Spirit, you need an adapter cable

You have unassigned CH5 in the Software, and set the gyro gain in the Spirit-Software instead - right?
Then you won't loose anything!

What you can't do with a PWM RX is:
- set gyro in the Tx (Ch5) AND switch banks (Ch7)
- FBL-governor

I believe that ive now got one bank less if I set it up with the Classic tx, because the banks are now on the gear CH (5) (Bank 0 and Bank2 ) ?
Ive tried to get the 3 Banks on my Taranis now....because Id like to have Normal on Bk1, Stabi on Bk2 and Rescue on Bank 3....but i dont now how to.

You only need to assign Gyro Gain to tri-state switch.
Then you should configure gains to -100, 0 and 100%. This value will tell the unit which bank should be active.
