Level initialization

Hi, is it needed for Rescue (and/or Self level) to work properly that the FBL is initialized (powered on for a flight) on a leveled surface?
Doesn't this mean level is changing throughout flight? I'm convinced that this is part of the reason for my rescue angle issue with 1.2. 1.1 works better for me.ZeXx86 wrote:No, it is not needed, altough it is recommended.
You can start helicopter even in 30° inclination, but to be sure that the rescue/stabilisation will be precise from the beginning of the flight, you can leave helicopter for few seconds at the level (+/- 5°) surface.
I also don't understand how it works... does it recalibrate when he sees no cyclic input? Or what? There can be situations where the heli is not level also without no cyclic, like when doing FF and then letting go... the heli will still be tilted...kmaluo wrote:Doesn't this mean level is changing throughout flight?
