Just ordered a Pro and kind of wonder around S-bus connectivity. Am i right in assuming I only need a std servo cable in order to connect my FrSky X8R with the new Spirit Pro via SBUS?

yes, you are perfectly right.
S-Bus inverter is integrated in the unit itself.

So you do not need anything else.
