Spirit System

I am wanting to use two Spektrum satellites. I have a DSMX and a DSM2. Can I use one of each or do they need to be the same type?

In general (not only for Spirit) you cannot mix DSM2 and DSMX.

Bind both in DSM2 mode.

Yes, it could work if you will bind both in DSM 2 mode, but it is not recommended and can cause major problems.

I will use two DSMX's and be done with it.

Yes, you will need this cable or compatible ones.

You will not need a cable if you will be using the Spirit Pro )))))

It took me a year to finally get my spirit installed and now the Pro is coming out
I need to get a little use out of the original model I purchased.

As an aside, my case is gun metal grey, like the pro. Tomas, there's no difference in the red or grey original base models is there?

The pro does indeed offer many new and cool additions. Betting it will be a big seller.
