I just attempted to flash my spirit flybarless and it failed. It's now dead. Is there a way to recover it? Please help...also, is there a way to recover my settings?

Don't be afraid, it can be recovered without lost of your settings.
Could you tell me, if the LED on your unit blinks at least for a short time when you connect the battery?
If yes, then it can be fixed in the new recovery mode introduced in version 1.3. very easily.
If no, then you have to use older recovery mode, which is described in the Guide that I will send you.
Did you installed the driver that is linked in the manual (in case of Mac) or from your Wizard (in case of Windows)?
Thank you

I have a Mac. No light blinking my dear friend. Any idea what could have happened?

I have to check if it blinks for a sec when I plug in. Not near it until tomorrow.

Also, I did install a driver when I first purchased my spirit 5 months ago.

Sometime (especially after OS update) the driver is rewrtitten or if you are using more FBL systems it can be this problem as well.
For basic communication it is working, but for the update it is unstable as in your case.
All in all it can be fixed always.

You have to check if your LED blinks for a few miliseconds when the battery is connected.

I can't check for sure until tomorrow morning. Can you send me instructions for what to do in both situations?
