Spirit System

Guys,
when I want to upgrade my Spirit unit, I try to download the new version 1.3.1 directly from the website. Unfortunatly the download gives me a .DF file, which cannot be 'selected' in the upgrade screen from the spirit software.
I tried to download the firmware file from this link:

Is this problem familiar by you? Or do I make the mistake myself by forgetting something?

Is the 1.3.1 file offered in the last post from the topic in the link below, a .bin file that will work?

There is no problem,

For upgrading to 1.3 you will need to download and install also software version 1.3 which can read 4DF files.

Can you explain a little bit more what I've to do. I first downloaded the newest windows software which is offered in youre website, after that I plugged the Spirit in, and it says that the software isn't the same as the firmware on the spirit unit. It says that I need to upgrade the spirit unit. When I want to download the firmware from the website, it couldn't download the .DF file.

So when I tried it, my windows compute allready had the 1.3.1 'download for windows' from the website.
What do I have to do exactly, and where do I find it?

First you have to download software (1.3.1) and install it to your computer.
Then you have to download firmware (4DF file).

Then you can normally start the unit, then the software (it is not a problem that your FW version was 1.2 previously). You have to only select the firmware (4DF file) and then click the Flash button.

I exactly did it this way, but it didn't worked. Tomorrow I'll try again. I let you know.

In your first post you said that the firmware file you downloaded is a .DF file.
Extension should be .4df
Maybe you inadvertently renamed it?

The downloaded file on my computer wasn't good. I've downloaded it again, and the new file was better. It's updated!
