The bailout flip is using the max pitch & elevator/roll settings. The manual says to always set these as large as possible. Unfortunately on some helis this can be way too large, like 25 degrees pitch or more. The flip will be very violent with such setting and there is a clear risk for boom strike. Reduce the max setting down to something like 15-20 degrees and then go from there to determine a flip rate that is comfortable yet saves the heli.

This may be a good opportunity to ask for a setting to limit the bailout flip rate :)

Yup, it's been asked for several times already. I'm assuming that it's in the works and will be released shortly.

+1... I reduced cyclic ring and rescue collective pitch on my logo because I was afraid of a boom strike during the rescue in normal mode.

Still, the title is wrong and shouting with caps is not netiquette.

Coco66...really? You really want to add insult to injury? I'm trying to warn others and maybe seek a little help...

Did not want to insult anybody.

Just meant - in my non-native english - that saying "DO NOT USE 1.3.1!!!!- This is what happens when you use the bailout on 1.3.1" is incorrect information.
Me - and many many many others - successfully used 1.3.1 for couple weeks now.
I personally tried all types of Rescue on my three helis without any single problem.

Moreover, the risk of potential book strikes had already being highlighted in this forum several times, and also the ways to avoid it.

Maybe something softer in your post would have worked better.

And, YES, using caps is inappropriate and not netiquette.
