Hi all, for my understanding of the controls in an fbl system,
Cyclic ring limits the maximum travel of the swash plate (Servos) to prevent mechanical binding.
(= max. combination of cyclic and collective pitch)
The rotation rate which is set in the fbl's have a similar effect like
D/R in the TX as it limits the max. commanded cyclic pitch by the TX.
Therefore the difference between max. commanded cyclic pitch and the cyclic ring limit is like a compensation / regulation overhead for the fbl unit. ( to e.g. compensate for pitch up in ffwd flight )
Is my assumtion right?

Hi,
you are right.
But the rotation rate in the settings is based on the response of model. So it is different than dual rate, because there is feedback.
If there is for example strong wind our FBL system can compensate it by increasing/decreasing angle. In flybar helicopter angle is constant, but speed can vary because of external factors.
