Version 2.4.0 was released!

It brings many new features and improvements:
  • Support for μSpirit unit:
    • Full support of the micro Spirit.
    • Compatible with all peripherals.
    • Can be used on helicopters of 130 - 250 size.
    • Support for ESC/Motor driven rudder.
    • New parameter Rudder - Control type to allow selection of the rudder drive.
    • NOTE: Will be supported by Spirit Aero firmware.
    • IMPORTANT: Older firmwares are not supported!
  • Graupner HoTT integration:
    • ESC Telemetry support.
    • USB interface can be connected without repowering the unit - once integration cable is plugged off, the status led will be turned off and you can plug in the USB interface.
    • Small speed optimization of the integration.
    • Support for μSpirit.
  • OpenTX Integration:
    • ESC Telemetry support.
    • Significantly faster telemetry data refresh rate.
    • USB interface can be connected without repowering the unit - once integration cable is plugged off, the status led will be turned off and you can plug in the USB interface.
    • Support for μSpirit.
  • JETI Duplex Integration:
    • ESC Telemetry support.
    • Telemetry data rate was optimized.
    • Support for Servo reverse CH0 for CCPM 90 swashplate.
    • Support for Subtrim CH0 for CCPM 90 swashplate.
    • Support for μSpirit.
  • In-Flight Vibration Analysis:
    • FIX: Can be used with F: Stabi function.
    • Can be activated all the time with no downside effect.
  • ESC Telemetry:
    • Support for telemetry data from the ESC - all data can be displayed directly in your radio.
    • Available for JETI Duplex, FrSky/OpenTX, Graupner HoTT.
    • New Telem CC, Telem UNI and Telem KONTRONIK telemetry cables.
    • Castle Creations Phoenix and Edge:
      • Battery Voltage
      • Battery Current (experimental)
      • BEC Voltage
      • Consumed Capacity (experimental)

    • HobbyWing Platinum V4:

    • Support for the latest 2.4 firmware.
    • Support for the ESC Telemetry.
    • Support for the μSpirit.
  • Spirit Settings - FreeBSD:
    • Launch scripts for better architecture detection updated.
    • Stability was enhanced.
  • Improved Setup Wizard:
    • New schemes with μSpirit.
    • Improved detection of the unit swapping..
    • New Profiles: T-Rex 150, T-Rex 250, Oxy 2, Blade 130S, Blade 180CFX, Blade 230S.
  • Governor:
    • Sensor Activity analyser was improved to work with all governor sensors.
Update for the Spirit unit, Wifi-Link and Jeti Integration is available in our Download section.

You do not have to change any settings after the update from the previous version 2.3.

Version 2.4.1 was released!
  • Graupner HoTT integration:
    • Telemetry connection is active also when the telemetry cable is disconnected - feature introduced in 2.4.0 was replaced.
    • USB interface can be connected once you will select the USB connection in the Expert menu (integration).
    • Speed optimization was reverted to increase compatibility.
  • ESC Telemetry:
    • Added support for the RPM readout from all supported ESCs - when no RPM sensor is connected, readout is taken from the ESC.
    • Added support for the Kontronik Jive ESC.
    • Kontronik Jive parameters:
      • Battery Voltage
      • Battery Current
      • BEC Voltage
      • Consumed Capacity
      • ESC Temperature
      • RPM
    • Added Imotor Shunt parameter - correction factor of the Current/Capacity.
    • Castle Creations Talon:
      • Temperature measurement was fixed.
    • HobbyWing Platinum V4:
      • Battery Current and Capacity measurement precision corrected for all models.

  • Rudder stopping performance:
    • Stopping was enhanced to make it more equal when torque is too assymetric.
  • Stabilisation mode:
    • Stabilisation algorithm was slightly enhanced to make it more stable when Direction Control Rate - 0 is configured.
  • Wifi-Link and Jeti integration:
    • Support for the latest firmware 2.4.1 - update available for download.
You do not have to change any settings after the update from the previous version 2.3 and 2.4.0.

Version 2.4.2 was released!
  • Graupner HoTT integration:
    • Added new Telemetry variable - Throttle PWM [ms] - reported under Climb rate.
  • OpenTX integration:
    • New diagnostic script for displaying channel values - script diagnostic.lua.
    • Full support for the Log Viewer - script logviewer.lua.
    • Added configuration for the ESC Telemetry.
    • Added new Telemetry variable - Throttle PWM [µs]
  • Jeti integration:
    • RPM readout can't overflow - the max. value is 8191.
  • ESC Telemetry:
    • Castle Creations:
      • Telemetry readout is stable also when Spirit Governor is enabled.
      • Fixed capacity calculation when Spirit Governor is enabled.
    • Kontronik Kosmik & Jive Pro:
      • RPM: readout is compatible with all configurations now.
    • HobbyWing Platinum V4:
      • HobbyWing v4 120A: temperature calculation was corrected.

  • Manual:

  • Spirit Settings:
    • Real-Time tuning:
      • When special function is assigned but channel is unassigned, the function will be automatically unassigned when window is closed.
    • Translation:
      • New Chinese traslation was added! (Big Thanks to Mr. Wong)
    • Setup Wizard:
      • Updated profiles for T-Rex 150, T-Rex 250, Blade 130S, Blade 230S, Oxy 2 and Oxy 3.
    • News noticement:
      • Automatic noticement of a new available updates.
