This is a new unit received from you last month. I reflashed The boot loader and am able to bind to the new version Sat. Can not bind To multiple DSMX sats. (All purchased new).
Once bound to the new version the channels all react. But, the voltage out is 5.2v when tested at the Spektrum cable end. I am using a Fluke 177 true rms to take the measurements.

I am using the new Spektrum DSMX Remote Receiver SPM9745
https://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/Def ... ID=SPM9745
I have it working with the spm9745 receiver after the boot loader update. It gets warm but still works. As I said earlier the voltage is 5.2 v. The other sats still do not work on the side port. Is it possible the higher voltage is causing the problem with the sat? I could not track down the voltage specifications for their new version but I wonder if they can tolerate the higher voltage. Is the high voltage a long term problem that will cause failure?

Oh, if you really can measure 5.2V out of the satellite port then it is big problem.
The only way how it can happen is that internal voltage regulator was shorted to the extent when it just forward BEC voltage to it.
This should not happen in any case, only possible explanation would be that it stopped to regulate (which should not also happen) or BEC voltage was connected somehow with reversed polarity or way too high at the input. But since you are longterm user I guess that this was not the case either.
At this condition it is important to not use the unit as more damage could happen at any time.
This unfortunately mean we will have to repair it - it should be pretty easy repair just for a few minutes. But would explain current behavior completely.
Very sad but at least we know why it is not working.
