android app crashes SOLVED

I have 2.6.1 installed and the current (Dec2018 approx) phone app. It has been working fine, but I recently removed my Chan 7 from the bank's selection, and was going to use 7 for a special feature. When I go to the special feature area, I see my Chan 8 setup to active rescue, but nearly immediately the app crashes and loses the BT connection.

I checked the android app store and it shows being current.

Thoughts?

Same issue today , coming from general setting into special function (channel) - app abend.

I am talking about settings file from the Spirit unit - 4ds file that you can download from the Android app or ideally Spirit Settings.
Then you can attach it here in the message.

But keep in mind it has been modified after app crash due PC spirit software. (If it's good to know)
